BlastOff: A Month in Review! - July 2024

As July draws to a close, it's time to reflect on another exhilarating month at BlastOff. From thrilling giveaways to new partnerships, we have plenty of exciting updates to share. 

This month has seen many feats achieved in the public eye and behind the scenes. So, without further adieu, let’s dive into the month's highlights and see how BlastOff continues to innovate and grow.

Ongoing Bridging Giveaway 

In the short time since we launched it, our ongoing bridging giveaway has been a smashing success, driving a surge of Polygon holders to move their tokens over to Blast. 

To incentivise our community to bridge their tokens to the Blast network, we launched a campaign that rewards users with exclusive bonuses and additional $OFF tokens. The response has been phenomenal, with thousands of participants taking advantage of this opportunity. 

To recap, we’re unlocking 40,000 $OFF per month for the next few months to Polygon holders who bridge their tokens to Blast. Bridging will make you eligible for the giveaway, and you can also start taking advantage of all the platform benefits available exclusively to $OFF holders on Blast!

40 users will be chosen after each closing date to receive 1000 $OFF each! 

If you haven't joined yet, there's still time to bridge your tokens and reap the benefits. Eligibility for the first unlock closes August 1st at 8am UTC, so don’t waste time and get your hat in the ring! However, if you bridge after that date, fear not; you are automatically eligible for the next drop.

BlastOff VIP Club

Introducing the BlastOff VIP Club! This exclusive program, which was introduced earlier this month, is designed to reward our most dedicated holders with premium perks and insider info. 

Members of the VIP Club gain access to a TG group with the founders and team, giving direct access to the minds behind the project! There, we aim to answer questions, provide updates and take suggestions for the future of BlastOff!

The VIP club requirements are simple. If you hold 6500+ $OFF on the Blast Network, you are eligible to join. Just fill out this form here. We are still accepting applications as we speak, and once we’ve sorted through the applicants, successful holders will be added to the chats.

We aim to complete this and have our VIP Club in full swing next week! We’re thrilled to offer this level of exclusivity and look forward to welcoming more members as we continue to grow.

Blast Points Distribution 

July saw another successful distribution of Blast points to dApps. After distributing all of our points and gold to our loyal community at the end of June, we have been awarded another 4,000,000 points from the Blast team!

Once again, we have distributed these to the community in recognition of your continued support of BlastOff. With all Blast points and gold to now be distributed to communities before the next drop, you’ll see consistent point drops to users in the future!

We are committed to providing ongoing rewards to our community, and this distribution is just one of the many ways we show our appreciation.

Partnership News

This month, BlastOff introduced a brand new partnership opportunity: a collaboration with Petoshi, a pioneering project that incorporates elements of gamification, DeFi, and SocialFi. 

As Petoshi aims to transform web3 social media into an interactive and rewarding ecosystem, we see a collaboration of mutually beneficial co-marketing initiatives between two successful Blast native projects!

With IDOs just around the corner, you can bet that this monthly partnership section will fill out exponentially soon!

Development Focus 

The most significant focus of this month behind the scenes has been the work of our brilliant development team.

We know that the entire community is eager for BlastOff to start announcing and launching IDOs, and trust me, everyone here has been doing everything we can to provide this as soon as possible.

That being said, due to recent market conditions, many projects have decided to delay their IDOs. As frustrating as that may be to community members who are anxious to get investing, it has allowed our dev team to fine-tune many areas of our launchpad, ensuring that everything is as good as it can be when we go live.

Our development team has been hard at work this month, focusing on enhancing platform functionality and user experience. Key areas of development include:

1. Improved User Interface: We've significantly upgraded the platform's UI, making it sleeker and more user-friendly.
2. Security Enhancements: Upgrading and optimising smart contracts have ensured enhanced security for when the project goes live.
3. Tier Structure Improvements: We are fine-tuning the tier structure and the pool weights to ensure users get the most out of participating in BlastOff.
4. Smart Contract Upgrades: Thanks to our tireless dev wizards, our IDO related smart contracts have been significantly upgraded, incorporating tier system automation, allocation multiplier application and more!

These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless and secure experience for all our users, and things are looking very, very good! We appreciate your patience and will encourage community feedback as we continue to refine and enhance the platform over time.

As we speak, the improvements are undergoing third-party audits to ensure they are secure before we go live, but we anticipate they will pass with flying colours, just in time for our August plans!
